Andoharanofotsy Adventist Church, 15 November 2025 — “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14a). This biblical message formed the cornerstone of the World Young Adult Day celebration within the Adventist Youth Department.

Adventist young people aim to be a beacon of light, guiding everyone towards Jesus Christ. They share the gospel in various ways with those around them, leading their peers to the ultimate Light in the heavens. The responsibility of accepting and utilising the Holy Spirit in God’s work was emphasised during the Sabbath sermon on 15 November 2025 at Andoharanofotsy Adventist Church in the Antsahasoa District.

Three Years of Evangelistic Work in Morarano

For three years, Andoharanofotsy Adventist Church has been actively preaching in Morarano, a town located nearby within the same municipality. The work has already borne fruit, with a growing group of Adventist believers forming an evangelistic task force in the area.

This dedicated group conducts Bible studies, seminars, and community service activities. Looking ahead, they’ve set a vision to establish a local Sabbath school for children. Church members remain committed to this divine work, and like previous daughter churches established by the congregation, youth will play a central role in accelerating gospel outreach.

“The development and advancement of the church’s construction are our priorities,” said Moise Edgard, leader of the older youth at Andoharanofotsy Adventist Church. “Every third Sabbath of the month, our young people carry out this work, sharing encouraging messages through letters. Next year, we will proceed with scheduled plans focused on expanding our evangelistic work in Morarano.”
A Youth-Driven Congregation

The World Young Adult Day celebration at Andoharanofotsy Adventist Church united young people in their participation in God’s work. The day was marked by an “After Event” following the Sabbath service—a joyful gathering that brought together youth from all age groups.

Notably, 80% of Adventist believers in Andoharanofotsy are members of the youth department, demonstrating the congregation’s vibrant, youth-driven character and their collective commitment to spreading the gospel light in their community.
