More than 140 young people from the South Botswana Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church have concluded a three-week evangelistic outreach in Artesia Village, Kgatleng District, resulting in 30 baptisms and strengthening the newly established Artesia Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The 2026 DX Missions Camp ran from 4 to 21 June 2026 and combined public evangelism, Bible studies, health ministry, and practical service across the Kgatleng District. DX Missions is the evangelistic outreach arm of the South Botswana Conference Youth Ministries Department.

Teams conducted house-to-house Bible studies and prayer visits, and ministered in schools, health facilities, and village leadership offices. Young people also intentionally served elderly residents, people living alone, and vulnerable families by cleaning homes, washing clothes, providing basic health care, offering massages, and distributing food hampers. Ahead of the camp, youth from across the Conference had organised a donation drive that collected clothing, toiletries, and school supplies for distribution to children, students, and families in need.

The Camp's community Health Expo drew Artesia residents to health screenings, blood pressure checks, medication education, men's and women's health seminars, and a blood donation campaign, an integrated approach that reflected the Adventist Church's emphasis on health as part of gospel witness, while opening doors to spiritual conversations.

Each day began with Bible study and practical training. Participants received instruction on conducting Bible studies, building relationships, and addressing contemporary social challenges, including alcohol abuse, family instability, and relationship issues, equipping the young missionaries for their daily community engagement.

By the close of the outreach, 30 people had publicly committed their lives to Christ through baptism, strengthening the newly established Artesia Adventist Church.

Conference leaders described the initiative as a working model of holistic mission that meets both spiritual and physical needs. The South Botswana Conference is one of two Conferences that make up the Botswana Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and continues to invest in DX Missions as a platform for developing young disciples and expanding Adventist witness throughout Botswana.
