Impact Mozambique 2026 is meeting practical community needs alongside its evangelistic mission. At the Novocine site, volunteers served 65 people with free haircuts, hair washing, and braiding before distributing soup at Municipal Square. The holistic approach builds relationships that extend beyond single meetings.

Impact Mozambique 2026 is not only filling evangelistic venues with the message of hope, but it's also meeting practical needs in communities across the nation. At the Novocine site, church members rolled up their sleeves on May 10 to offer free haircuts, hair washing, and braiding services, demonstrating Christ's love through tangible acts of service.

By day's end, the team had served 65 people: 34 received haircuts, 24 had their hair washed, and 7 received braiding services. The initiative championed by the youth focused on providing a welcoming space where community members could experience care and dignity.

Ponte-Gea Adventist Church elder Sérgio Mozangar says the initiative allows them to mingle with the people and show them love.

It was a day of hard work, dedication, and service to the community," he adds. "We thank everyone involved for being part of this mission of love and care for others.

One of the recipients of the haircut expressed his gratitude to the church.

The community outreach extended beyond personal care services. Following the afternoon activities, volunteers distributed soup in the area surrounding Praça do Município (Municipal Square), bringing nourishment and hope to those in need.

It was a truly blessed moment, marked by sharing, solidarity, and love for others," the team shared.

The practical service activities served as a bridge to the evening's main event, with community members invited to return at 6 p.m. for the Impact Mozambique evangelistic program. The strategy reflects the campaign's holistic approach, addressing both physical and spiritual needs while building relationships that extend beyond a single meeting.

As Impact Mozambique 2026 continues across more than 800 sites nationwide, the Novocine example demonstrates how the campaign is living out its theme, "Christ Our Hope," through compassionate action that opens hearts to the gospel message.
